Boy, 16, used semi-automatic rifle to shoot and kill three relatives and family friend half an hour before midnight, police say
A 16-year-old New Jersey kid equipped with a self loading rifle shot and killed his folks, sister and a family companion inside the family home under 30 minutes before midnight on New Year's Eve, experts said on Monday.
Neighborhood prosecutor Chris Gramiccioni said the kid would be accused of four tallies of murder and a weapons offense coming from the shooting in the shore town of Long Branch.
Police have not estimated on a thought process in the shooting. The rifle utilized as a part of the shooting was lawfully enrolled to an occupant of the house, Gramiccioni said.
The kid's name was not unveiled but rather the casualties were distinguished as his folks, Steven Kologi, 44, and Linda Kologi, 42; his 18-year-old sister, Brittany; and 70-year-old Mary Schultz, who lived with the family.

Police reacted to a 911 call announcing shots discharged at the home soon after 11:30pm on Sunday, Gramiccioni said. He portrayed the shooting as a disengaged local episode and said the adolescent was arrested without issue.Read More Source
