Following five acid attacks in London, two teenage boys have been arrested after two male suspects riding a moped targeted victims during a 72-minute spree.
The Metropolitan Police said one victim had been left with "life-changing" injuries after being doused on Thursday night in the east of the capital.
The assaults appeared to be linked and two involved victims having their mopeds stolen, they added.
A 16-year-old youth is being control at associate degree east London station once being in remission on suspicion of grievous bodily damage and theft. A 15-year-old boy was later in remission at associate degree address in tend Newington on suspicion of grievous bodily damage and theft.
Cressida Dick, head of New Scotland Yard, branded such attacks as "completely barbaric", telling LBC: "The acid will cause dire injuries; those last night concerned a series of robberies we tend to believe square measure joined - i'm glad to check we've got in remission someone."Read More
