    Charlie Gard parents end legal fight for 'beautiful' baby

    The parents of terminally ill baby Charlie Gard have ended their legal challenge to take him to the US for experimental treatment.

    A professional person representing Chris Gard and Connie Yates told the state supreme court "time had run out" for the baby.

    Mr Gard aforementioned it meant his "sweet, gorgeous, innocent very little boy" won't reach his initial birthday on four August.
